The Maternal and Child Health Bureau MCHB is dedicated to strengthening public health systems with the m of ensuring the physical and mental well-being of America's mothers, children, and families. We support more than 61 million pregnant individuals, infants, and children, including those who require special healthcare needs. Our initiatives are designed to:

• Guarantee that every mother, baby, child, and youth receive appropriate health care

• Encourage the creation of national guidelines for women's and children's checkups as well as newborn screenings

• Equip public health professionals with trning tlored specifically to maternal and child health populations' requirements

• Respond to the pressing maternal health crisis through the establishment of the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline: 1-833-TLC-MAMA 1-833-852-6262

We are committed to achieving our goals by:

• Investing $2 million in the Center for Maternal and Child Health Medicd Partnerships, which strengthen collaborations between key federal programs and state services.

• Allocating approximately $2.4 million towards diverse organizations to develop innovative policies that address non-medical factors like housing, transportation, education influencing maternal and child health.
