Overview of Our Services for Infants Ages 1-12 Months
The first year of a baby's life is filled with significant growth and development. During this time, parents often experience sleep deprivation but should not worry about spoiling their child; instead, being responsive helps build security in your baby.
Months 1-3:
Newborns adjust to new environments, experiencing rapid weight gn and developing the ability to lift their heads. Early smiles make parents' days brighter! Babies also start following objects with their eyes and recognizing familiar faces. Nighttime sleep begins to lengthen while daytimes feedings might decrease.
By two months, most infants sleep through nights better than during the day, allowing parents some respite. The third month marks a period when dly routines for feeding, sleeping, and play emerge. Reading aloud becomes an essential part of bedtime routines, promoting in babies.
Months 4-7:
As your baby grows, they develop rolling skills and begin to sit with support. Hand-eye coordination improves as they start transferring objects between hands and bouncing on their feet. Babbling and interaction increase during this period. Solid foods are introduced typically around this time for optimal nutrition.
Months 8-12:
Your child starts crawling and walking, necessitating a baby-proofing strategy to ensure safety as exploration intensifies. Vocabulary expands with first words. They enjoy feeding themselves while you might notice increased separation anxietya sign of healthy attachment. Consistent discipline at this stage helps teach safe behaviors.
As your baby turns one year old, they have transformed significantly from infants to toddlers. Get ready for the energy and curiosity that comes next!
Well Child Visits:
We encourage regular check-ups including physical exams and screenings tlored to each infant's development phase at 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, and 12 months.
Vaccinations Schedule:
Multi-disease vaccine for Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Polio, Haemophilus influenzae type b Hib, and Hepatitis B.
Prevnar for pertussis
Rotavirus vaccination
MMR Measles, Mumps, Rubella
Varicella Chickenpox vaccine
Hepatitis A vaccine
